Culture Jam™ Co stands in solidarity with Palestine and their right to freedom, sovereignty and self determination. We denounce the ongoing occupation, displacement and genocide of the Palestinian people that has resulted in the deaths of over 25,000 Palestinians, with more than 10,000 being children. Ceasefire Now. End The Occupation. Free Palestine.
Black liberation and civil rights leaders and organizers have historically stood with the palestinian people and recognized the shared struggle and fight against systemic oppression, colonialism and aparteid that existed and continues to exist in both the United States and all around the world.
US taxpayers are directly funding the continued occupation and genocide of the Palestinian people. The United States sends more than $3.8 billion in military aid every year to Israel, furthering the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people who have no army, no navy, and no air force. They have no control over their airspace, electricy, food, water, or internet.
Mainstream media outlets are using selctive language that dehumanizes the Palestinian people while attempting to offuscate the war crimes and destruction Israel is causing to the people in both Gaza and the West Bank.
We ask our supports and followers to demand an immediate ceasefire. You can call and email your Representatives and ask them to sign onto the Ceasefire Now Resolution. And continue to use social media to continue to speak up for the people of Palestine and stand in solidarity with their struggle. We know that Israel must end its’ brutal occupation and genocide of the Palestinian people for peace to be acheived.
